News: Water Festival 2024 in Cambodia: A Cultural Celebration at the Riverside

From November 14-16, 2024, Cambodia will host its annual Water Festival (Bon Om Touk), a vibrant celebration marking the end of the rainy season and the natural reversal of the Tonle Sap River’s flow. Held along the Phnom Penh riverside, this iconic event gathers locals and visitors for three days of boat races, cultural performances, and food markets.

Highlights of the Water Festival——Boat Racing Tradition

The highlight of the Water Festival is the boat racing competition, where beautifully decorated traditional boats, each carrying skilled rowers, compete in high-energy races.
